New portals are created by clicking +Add within the Portal section of the developers console:

Portals can be created empty, from existing templates, or cloned from existing portals.

Once created, roles must be granted access to the portal before any user will be able to log into and use the portal

Create

• Does not apply to portals
• A single portal is used for multiple users. It is less likely to be programmatically created.

Read

• Grants permission to login and view the portal

Update

• Grants permission to modify/customize the portal

Delete

• Does not apply to portals
• At this time, a portal can only be deleted by a developer.
